I just got laid off from a high paying job in the healthcare field, and with healthcare being in a rapid decline due to Obamacare, Pittsburgh’s biggest industry being healthcare, and between UPMC and Highmark making for a completely non-competitive monopoly here, it’s time to leave. I’d have to find a big difference in pay to stay here for another long gray dreary, cold winter. The weather here is only good from mid-May to mid-September.
